New Aggies (5/9): Mayan Kiir

Updated: Aug 16, 2020

Don't know about you, but we can't keep up with all the talent Chris Jans has brought in, particularly in the last few months. This predicament inspired us to start a blog series on newcomers for the 2020 season. This is not limited to the 2020 recruiting class but will cover all Aggies we have yet to see suit up. Please enjoy the fifth installment of this 9-part series!

High school and JuCo Rankings
  • Four stars coming out of high school.

  • Offers from: LSU, NC State, VCU, Illinois. Enrolled at LSU with Will Wade... we all know how that went.

Highlights
  • Just when you think he's run out of juice, he throws it down with two hands. Not bad.

Eligibility and Fit
  • 1.5 years of eligibility after transferring from USF mid-season.

  • With Kiir's defensive abilities, we expect him to play a significant role in the front court.

Aggie Comparison
  • Renaldo Dixon (2010-2014)
